Sara Fang is the Head of Children and Youth Programming at Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay. She oversees the planning and running of Esplanade programmes for families and schools, including March On, an annual festival for young audiences that celebrates the stories and experiences that matter to them, and Feed Your Imagination, Esplanade’s main catered-for-schools series. Within the basket of offerings are also artist development opportunities for Singapore artists creating works for children. Prior to this appointment, Sara led the producing team that organized the Singapore International Festival of Arts. She was also a music producer for more than 10 years. Growing up, music was always central to Sara's life and she deeply believes that children need to actively engage in artful experiences. She is happy to join in this dialogue. |
