Suitable for ages 3 years and up

Art Away Studio provides an array of craft workshops at The Artground, with familiar favourites such as Colour Scientist and Under The Sea Transparency Art to Shelly Snail and Rolly Fishy. Head Elf of Art Away Studio, Cherlyn Mark often dreams up new delightful art activities that even the littlest ones can engage in.
Dance Playground is where Rolypoly Family explore dance and movement through unusual play structures and get (a little) messy.
We play games that transform dance and movement into visual forms – watch the wiggles turn into squiggles!
Dance-telling sessions include stories from Indian mythology & folklore, a hands-on artwork and dance retelling using Indian classical dance mudras (hand gestures).

Kueh Tutus
Suitable for ages 12 - 30 months

Made just for babies 12 to 30 months old. Inspired by the life cycle of plants, Grow With Me is a beautiful and intimate dance performance that is mesmerizing with its coloured lights in a beautiful garden set.
Letters Come Alive
Rolypoly Family
In this whimsical and acrobatic dance theatre performance, the letters of the alphabet take on different shapes and sounds to inspire silliness that kids and grown-ups will enjoy. Do children need to know the alphabet to enjoy the show? Not at all. Do they learn it by the end of the show? That's not our goal! Will the children spend the rest of the week making shapes and sounds with their bodies – and spotting letters everywhere? They just might! Join us to see what happens when letters come alive.

Letters Come Alive! was first staged at The Artground, and subsequently performed at The Esplanade's Octoburst! festival and the National Arts Council's Got To Move initiative.
In the Painter's Studio
The Kueh Tutus
Join the painters as they dance around their canvas trying to figure out what to paint with oversized brushes and crayons. You can be their muse as we have a blast together in this multi- sensory performance.
  Terrific Tales
The Storytelling Centre Limited
The perfect introduction to the art of storytelling especially for little listeners by Young Storytellers. Highly interactive and energetic, Terrific Tales takes place on most Sundays at The Artground with different themes each month. Sessions end with a simple craft activity that you can take home.
Wah So Simple - 534 x 274.png

Wah So Simple offers a variety of engaging craft sessions at The Artground for the little ones. A Singapore craft company established by 2 local entrepreneurs, they have turned their passion of creating crafts with their hands into creating, developing, curating and running craft experiences for numerous organisations. Past sessions we love include “Let’s Make Chendol”, “Gem Biscuit Tic-Tac-Toe” and ”Beary Yummy Ice-Cream”.

These days, we know what it feels like to enjoy being out and about, and then suddenly stuck at home with nothing to do! Or is that really the case? House is a peek into our little curious Collector's everyday adventures as she goes out and about, collecting objects from her environment. But what happens when the rain keeps her from going about her daily routine? Can she continue to tap into her curious nature to find joy indoors?

This live theatre performance, for children 15 months to 3 years, is a visual and sensory experience designed to tickle your child's senses. Each adult-child pair will ‘live' and view the performance in their own little “house” as they follow the Collector's journey of discovery and fun, rain or shine!

HOUSE was developed as part of The Artground’s Artist-in-Residency Programme.

Invisible Invincible
My SuperFuture Theatrical Productions
We have a bag of everything that is full of “INVISIBLE” surprises. We need your imaginative help to fulfil some fun tasks! Let your children explore imagination through the medium of invisibility.

Invincible is a GroundBreaker's initiative.

Nayuri - 534 x 274.png

Inside a tree trunk, a forest nymph spends its day. Some days it’s sunny, some days it’s stormy, some days it’s just… rave time! NATURI is a sound installation and performance specially designed for young audiences from 18 months to 4 years; as well as children with additional needs with the psychomotor skills of up to 4 years, along their carers. Set in an imaginative forest, NATURI combines puppetry, sound exploration and invites everyone to lie back and bathe in the soundscape of the forest.

NATURI was developed as part of The Artground’s Artist-in-Residency Programme.

Beam 2 - 534 x 274.png

Tiny Feat
A child, a light beam, an unlikely friendship and a series of adventures. Beam takes the audience on a sensorial journey and encourages everyone to see the world they live in, in a different light and appreciate beauty in the little things in life. This performance is suitable for children aged between 2-5 years of age.

The Anywhere 534 x 274.png

The Anywhere of Everything, No Matter the Time
Dalija Acin Thelander
The Anywhere of Everything, No Matter the Time, is a choreographed installation for the youngest audiences and children with diverse needs who relate to the world differently. It explores the possibilities of an event-world rather than an object world - something more dynamic and relatively unpredictable. It aims at diverse sensory experiences and a heightened sensitivity towards the immediate physicality of the world by interlacing movement, dance, music, visual art and light design.
