Arts Learning Journey
All school groups are required to book an Arts Learning Journey programme to visit The Artground.
Schools may choose to visit either One Holland Village or Goodman Arts Centre, subject to the availability of our venue and the artist's schedule.

The cost is $22 per child (no GST charges, minimum charges apply per programme) and $5 for each accompanying adult (teachers and parents).
Due to space constraints, only one parent may accompany each child on the excursion. However, this is not compulsory provided there are sufficient teachers to manage and monitor the children closely at all times.

informal theatre activity where players improvise and respond to theatre-based
stimuli, displaying a colourful array of artistic human expressions. When we say
Theatre, what do you say? ... stage? characters? story? ... props? costume?
makeup? ... lighting? sound? What else.... When you say Theatre, We Say... YOUR
Moves + Voice + Imagination! Looking at what we already have as humans We come
together and create stories Releasing that innate creative expression! Children from 5-9
years old who understand English and live in Singapore, are potential
jammers! In this chanced encounter, the jammers step away from digital screens, meet for the first time (and maybe the only time) to come together as an ensemble (teamwork) in a safe & playful environment, using their bodies, voices and imagination to decide who they are (characters) and wandering through these shared imagined spaces (dramatic context), what will they encounter and how would they respond (dramatic tension)?
