Founded by 2 passionate early childhood educators, dive into the world of open-ended and child-led fun learning experience with Little Joy Play's Sensory Play Programme. Children will be immersed in music and movement, storytelling, and taste-safe sensory exploration. This programme aims to provide fun activities that help kids learn and grow. It stimulates brain development by enhancing different skills such as the use of multiple senses to process information, practice of fine motor skills (hands and fingers), thinking and planning, as well as eye-hand coordination. Enjoy safe, food-grade sensory materials and explore exciting different themes together.
Themes and Description
5 Nov - Wheels on the bus
Through music and movement and storytelling, we invite you to travel to Guatemala and join a busy bus as it journeys to the town on market day. Followed by our invitation of sensory play, young children will immerse themselves in the small world (made with taste-safe ingredients) that engages their multiple senses.
12 Nov - Hot air balloon and outer space
Experience a captivating journey around the world and in a hot-air-balloon. Our taste safe sensory world tub will bring you to different landscapes such as desert, sky and even to the outer-space! Enjoy the music and storytelling that come with it.
19 Nov - Going on a bear hunt
Are you ready to join us on a bear hunt? As we travel through the long wavy grass, deep cold river, thick oozy mud and other exciting places! Be engaged in our taste safe sensory world made from different textures of kitchen ingredients while immersing in the music and movement and storytelling brought to you especially by Little Joy Play.
Ms Meyi Lassalle
Having worked with young children for years, Meyi believe that it is crucial to develop children to be lifelong learners who are confident, passionate, and curious to discover the world around them. Children learn optimally in a safe environment where they know that their voices are being heard and their positive self - image is built. I believe to scaffold children's discoveries through an open-ended, delightful, and child-led learning environment. In my leisure time, I love to be in nature, explore new places, cultures, food and meet people.
