INTER-GENERATIONAL PROGRAMME
Memories Café
TAG Team x DSG
3 years and up 10 May 26 (Sun)
Programme Content
The Artground is Singapore's first multi-disciplinary arts centre dedicated to children from birth to 9 years old. We have created from birth to 9 years old. We have created a space where families with young children can come together to explore and experience the joy of the arts. Our mission is grounded in the belief that every child, regardless of their background or ability, deserves access to the transformative power of the arts. And we want to extend this joyful arts experience with silver-haired members of the family as well.

In this session of Memories Café, we'll begin with a joyful 20-minute music and movement sing-along session by Babes Conde. After which, families will work with the Artground facilitators to create a special Memories Collage, a fun and meaningful way to celebrate the loved ones in our lives who are our everyday superheroes. Through artmaking and conversations, we honour who they are. From their amazing cooking skills and great sense of direction, to their wonderful sense of humor and the many ways they care for us.

To help us create your collage, please send up 4 to 5 photos of loved one in their element. This could be cooking up a storm, fixing things around the house, gardening, enjoying a favourite hobby, or simply spending time together. These images will be printed and used during the session. Please Whatsapp your photos to 8299 5364 with your name.

We will whatsapp you for the photos the week before.

About the Artist(s)

At The Artground (TAG), we run a series of craft and sensory storytelling activities led by our in-house facilitators. Our programmes are thoughtfully designed to appeal to young audiences and their families, creating positive art experiences for all. Whether guiding students through art learning journeys that inspire creativity and critical thinking, engaging children with sensory storytelling adventures that captivate the imaginations, or running intergenerational programmes that foster collaboration across age groups, our facilitators are committed to making art accessible and meaningful. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to TAG, where every visit promises to be a journey of discovery.
